Beliefs

Having been involved with sport and exercise my entire life, I am extremely passionate about making sure people can get involved with exercise any way they can and enjoy the process!

I have played international level hockey and coached it for 4 years and currently I train, compete in and coach Brazilian Jiu Jitsu – I love to coach!

I strongly believe the first priority when training is making sure you stay injury free and healthy. You can’t make any progress if you can’t train!

Approach

I have recently gained a 1st class degree in Sport Rehabilitation from the University of Nottingham, so this plays a huge part in how I approach coaching movements. I always aim to ensure the client understands why they need to move in a certain way and the benefits of correct technique.

I have coached a wide variety of people and pride myself on being able to explain techniques or corrections in a way you can understand and apply to the rest of your training. I believe that if you understand how your body moves, you will have a long and successful training career!

  • I am also a part time sports photographer and I enjoy photographing wildlife and landscapes
  • I spent my gap year in Australia playing hockey
  • I can do a Rubik’s cube in 45 seconds 
  • I’m currently training and competing in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu
