This is my 16 year transformation and ongoing battle with my weight. It gives you an overview of the challenges I have faced along the way and how I have overcome certain things and the mistakes I have made. 2015 Body Transformation was my biggest challenge to date. If you watch the video or continue to read down the page below you will see I’m not “genetically gifted” like some.

Starting Stats: 20% Bodyfat and 82Kg in May 2015

Finishing Stats: 10% Bodyfat and 71.5Kg July 13th 2015.

Total Weight Loss: 10.5Kg

Massive change as you can see. Now if you do the calculations you will see, with me doing it, in such a short transformation period I sacrificed some lean muscle mass.

Before

This is me when I was just 19 years old and had been attending the gym on and off had a poor diet. I did like most 18 /19 year olds did then and that was partying alot, drinking alcohol and eating pizza.

I remember weighing around 13st 10Lbs at that point.

After

Now I set myself a big goal with my coach at the start of 2015 (now bearing in mind I had worked with my coach for around 18months prior and only ever done 8 week cutting down. So we started but 2 months in we were making small progress. So I arranged to book a photo shoot with one of the UK top fitness photographers Matt Marsh.

So just over 12 Weeks out we took a new approach which basically involved going super strict. It not only meant training hard every session and being consistent  but also making some sacrifices nutritionally.

My diet consisted of lean cuts of meat, green vegetables and some fats. Then every Saturday I would have 250g carbs from either sweet potato, rice, rice cakes and fruit. I was training 5 days a week along side 2 light  cardio sessions.

Comparison

So the pictures on the left show how fast you can transform your body if you go ‘all in’. That’s what I did over a 12 week period with my coach pushing me every step of the way. Your probably thinking that pretty incredible, it was but believe you and me it was not an easy challenge. 2015 that transformation was my big priority for me to see how far I could go with my body in a specific time period.

There was no backing out as I had a photoshoot booked with one of the best fitness photographers in the UK Matt Marsh. The thing is that sometimes you need to have skin in the game so to speak. So once I had paid Matt 50% deposit for the photos I knew it was game on and I needed to bring my best body condition to the table which I did.

There were times where I questioned myself and what I was doing, basically alot of mind games. I will not forget when I ate a magnum and got told by my coach I shouldn’t of had it.
Now imagine if I did a slower approach but over a longer period? This is the next challenge for me for 2017. I want to have another photo shoot and potentially enter a physique competition so watch this space.
