9 x Chocolate Tahini Bars Stacked Up

Snack bars with our chocolate tahini bars recipe from our Body Transformation Centre recipe collection.


60g buckwheat groats (uncooked weight)
80g tahini
40g dark chocolate (minimum 70% cocoa)
a pinch of sea salt
60g oats (use gluten free if preferred)
25g desiccated coconut (optional)
15g puffed rice
20g raisins
20g sunflower seeds
30g vanilla flavour whey or rice protein powder (optional)

Makes 9 Bars

178 calories
10g fat
15g carbs

Cooking Instructions

Preheat oven to 170 ̊C / 350 ̊F. Pour the buckwheat groats onto an oven tray and spread
evenly. Bake for 10 minutes, until golden.
Line the base of a15x15cm baking tin with baking paper.
Put the chocolate, tahini and salt into a pan and place over a low heat. Stir well until

Transfer the mixture into the tin and press down firmly with a spatula.
Refrigerate for 1 hour or more then cut into 9 pieces.
Store any leftovers in an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 4 days or freeze on
same day.
